Hear are a few tips that I have observed and have helped many students around me. Teachers, parents, and peers may motivate you to do better in school, but in the end it is your choice to make. They will not be around to help you with everything, every step of the way. Motivation to do better in school, like many other things, has to come from a desire within you. The two main issues students struggle with are that they are afraid their work may not be good enough and end up over stressing themselves, then there is the fear of being judged by the people they hang out with and those people may look at them differently. These insecurities for some can lead to a student giving up or not trying their best on that assignment and losing their motivation. If you do not like working alone you, could find a group of friends to work with and start a study group to help with what you may be struggling in. You could also find the time to talk to a teacher to ask for additional help or make up work. Setting goals for yourself so you won’t be as stressed time things out to slowly get back on task take things one step at a time would also be a good simple way to get back on track. Many people blame their surroundings for doing so badly in school, when they know it is not true whatever comes around is their choice to how they react to the problem/ situation. You need to be determined to do better in school and become the person you want to be in life it will not come easy. You will have to fight for it.
